Well I decided to do a little redecorating for the holidays, even thought it’s 7 days before Thanksgiving, which unofficially, is the earliest I will allow myself to “get into the Christmas spirit”. I normally facilitate this rule in order to prevent myself from getting tired of Christmas music and all that stuff before the actual holiday arrives. But for some reason (probably the cold front that hit this week) I’ve decided to cheat a little.
I have to apologize again for not posting more frequently, but things have been pretty busy with work and other stuff this week, so I’ve had to shift some priorities around. If you checked my blog frequently the past few days, you might have noticed that I put up a test version of the Pixelight site for a little while on my blog space. The official logo and website of Pixelight Creative has been created and the website has now gone live. The website is by no means finished and polished, but it’s a start for now. We just needed to get something up quick because people are beginning inquire and it’s pretty stupid for a web design studio to not have a website.
Since Thanksgiving is next week and people usually ask about holiday/travel plans, I thought I would mention our tenative plans for next weekend. Katy gets Thursday and Friday of next week off, so we will spend Thursday with my folks, having the big turkey dinner deal for lunch at my aunt’s in Arlington (we’re bringning the rolls), then maybe some leftover sandwiches for dinner at MeMa’s or my parents’ place. Then, Friday, we’ll take off for Abilene (my first visit back since we moved) for a post-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner rendezvous with Katy’s parents at Jen & Kevin’s (Katy’s sister). We’ll hang out there all weekend (maybe do some crazy Christmas shopping) and we’re planning on hitting up Crosspoint for some church on Sunday, but we’re thinking that we’ll miss quite a few folks there because of the holiday weekend. If any of my Abilenian friends are reading this, post a comment or call me and let me know what your plans are so we’ll know who we can see that weekend.
That’s it for now. I’ll try to make some more posts before next Thursday (probably about how I don’t like Thanksgiving food), but you’ll want to make sure you check here on Thanksgiving day for a special post!

I like the website a lot! And your new look here is pretty nice, too. Good work.
dude, you are the world’s fastest commenter. You blow my mind.
