This is why legalism is such a major issue for us. We naturally want to have rules, so we don’t have to think about it. We want to know what we can and can’t do, so we can judge and rank our own spirituality and the spirituality of others.

Yep! We so quickly forget that even our best efforts are but filthy rags in comparison to God’s riches.
