Well this weekend was pretty exciting for me. Katy and I found out Friday that our baby is a little girl. I’m told that this makes the baby showers, decorating, etc. more fun. I guess that could be true, but whatever. We haven’t thought of a name yet, but that’s on the to-do list, now that we know what kind of name we’re looking for. Any suggestions?

I don’t know what happened, but since we got pregnant it seems like baby stuff is happening everywhere. Kevin and Chaille had their little girl a couple of weeks ago, Michael and Jennifer Armstrong just had their baby boy, and we found out that John and Molly Hunt are expecting. Crazy stuff. I definately feel like we’re being launched into a new stage of life or something.

Nothing much happening this week. I’ve got some design revisions to do, as well as conceptualizing a couple of websites. I also picked up a new client at church yesterday. Katy and I also get to go do a “level 2″ sonogram tomorrow, just so they can get a better look at everything, which is great because we get a better look too!

I got to resume my “guitar playin” at church yesterday, which for some reason, was more fun than usual. I think it was because I was reminded again of how lucky I am to not only play with Michael Armstrong (my worship leader teen idol), but to play with the best band I’ve ever played with. I’m serious…..these guys are extremely talented. Almost everyone has been a professional musician at one time in their life. I am by far the least talented person on stage, but I’m ok with that because I know the more I play with them, the better I will get. Normally, I would feel a little anxious about my abilities, but I recived alot of compliments and encouragement yesterday, which was nice.

In other news, the Pixelight site has a new look, basically because the last one was too sluggish. This one is more simple and lightweight. Now I won’t be quite so nervous about telling someone the site’s address. That’s definately something that a web designer shouldn’t have to worry about. I’m particularly proud of the slideshow plugin I used on the portfolio pages. Very cool.

My vote is “Beaniqua”. You can thank Kevin for that, and until you two come up with something else, that’s what we’ll be calling her…
Is that great motivation to find a name or what?

Where is Michael Armstrong these days? I miss his music ministry so much! (I’m in the Dallas area.)
