What? Could it be? An actual blog entry? That's right. I've intentionally rearranged my work schedule for the sole purpose of posting an authentic blog entry with genuine "brewing thoughts" in hopes of sparking more frequent posts. The honest truth is that things really have been insane in this little Plano apartment the past 6 months. I know everyone says your life is going to change when you have a baby, but there's no way to prepare for what we've been through, so for those of you who are about to have a kid or are thinking about it, don't fret about preparing or "bracing yourself" for change. It doesn't matter. So, what's happened since Caelyn rocked our world? More than I care to discuss in detail. If I did that, not only would I have to launch a 20-post series, but it would way too dramatic and boring. The best thing to do here is to give you a run down of significant events that have occured in the past several months: Late June Caelyn was born, sleepless ...More »

People say I'm hard to shop for. I'm either picky, or can't think of anything, etc. The point is, both Christmas and my birthday (Nov 23) are coming up in the next couple of months, so I thought I would do my best to make it easy for those who want to shower me with gifts to do so with ease. So, I present the public with my wishlist for the 2006 holidays. Made with the fabulous Backpack, I've put together a list (complete with links) of all the material things in the world that I think will make me happy. I'll be amending it frequently, I'm sure, so check it often if you want to make sure you get me the best gift possible. Happy shopping! While you're at it, why don't you sign up for Backpack? It's free, and makes organizing your life a pleasure! Plus you can make your own wishlist and share it with your friends and family! More »

Well I finally got around to overhauling the Pixelight site. I never intended to keep the temporary previous design for that long, but this month I forced myself to stay up late a few nights and give my freelance site the treatment it deserved. For those keeping track of things, you might be asking why you don't see Bradshaw anywhere on the site. It's not that he won't be involved on any Pixelight projects, but he's working full-time for Church Plant Media now, plus has another job at Frisco Bible Church, so he really can't afford a whole lot of time towards Pixelight. So, due to these circumstances, I've made Pixelight the brand of my freelance work. Bradshaw will still contribute, but basically Pixelight revolves around my work. So take a look around---you'll notice that my portfolio is actually currrent now! I don't know how good I will be at keeping it that way, but I'll certainly do my best. If you or someone you know has any design needs, I'd appreciate some new business (having ...More »
